Privacy Policy — Privacy Notice

This is a courtesy translation. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

In compliance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and other applicable Mexican rules, MarketRider, with sites at marketrider.co and trading.marketrider.co (the “Controller”), provides you with this Privacy Notice.

1. Personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), nationality and, optionally, phone number.
• Service usage data: assets you follow, portfolios and transactions you choose to record, language and notification preferences.
• Payment data: payments are made through PayPal or by bank transfer (SPEI). We do not store card numbers or your PayPal account details; we keep only the receipt you upload to validate the payment and transaction references (plan purchased, amount, dates and status).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and access logs, needed for the security and operation of the Platform.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

2. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (required for the service): creating and managing your account; providing the Platform’s features (alerts, signals, portfolios, reports); processing payments and renewals; sending you service notifications (signal alerts, email verification, password recovery, expirations); providing support; and complying with legal obligations.

Secondary purposes: sending you periodic summaries, product news and informational communications. You can object to these purposes at any time from your account settings or by writing to the contact email, without affecting the service.

3. Transfers and processors

We do not sell or rent your personal data. To operate the Platform we share data, only to the extent necessary, with providers acting as data processors:

• PayPal — processing of PayPal payments.
• Resend — sending transactional emails.
• Infrastructure and hosting providers where the Platform runs.
• Telegram — only if you choose to turn on notifications through it.
• Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymous measurement of site usage.

These providers may be located outside Mexico and process data under their own privacy policies and the Controller’s instructions.

4. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw your consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data. To exercise them, send a request to hola@marketrider.co stating: (a) your name and registered email, (b) the right you wish to exercise and (c) a clear description of your request. We will respond within the time limits set by the LFPDPPP (at most 20 business days). If you believe your right to data protection has been violated, you may contact Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).

5. Cookies and local storage

The Platform uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage) for strictly functional purposes: keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences (language, views). We also use Google Analytics to measure site usage in aggregate (pages visited, where the visit came from); this data is not used for personalized advertising. You can block these cookies from your browser settings without affecting how the Platform works.

6. Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and for the periods needed to meet legal obligations. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures —password encryption, secure connections (HTTPS) and access controls— to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration or unauthorized use. You can request the deletion of your account and your data at any time.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date; substantial changes will be notified by email.
