Terms and Conditions of Use

This is a courtesy translation. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the MarketRider platform, available at marketrider.co and trading.marketrider.co (the “Platform”), operated by its owner (hereinafter “MarketRider”, “we”). By signing up for or using the Platform you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
For clarity: MarketRider is an informational and entertainment platform about financial markets — a tool to learn about, explore and follow the market, not an advisory service.
MarketRider is not an investment firm or a financial advisor, and we do not give financial or investment advice. Nothing you see on the Platform —alerts, signals, charts, track record or backtests— is a recommendation to buy or sell. Any investment decision is solely yours and at your own risk.
1. Nature of the service
MarketRider is an information, tracking and entertainment tool about financial assets (stocks and ETFs). The Platform generates alerts and signals derived from statistical and algorithmic models for informational, educational and entertainment purposes only. It must not be understood or used as professional investment advice.
- MarketRider is not an investment firm, brokerage, investment advisor or financial institution, and it is not regulated or supervised by Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) or by any financial authority.
- MarketRider does not offer financial or investment advice of any kind, whether general or personalized.
- The information on the Platform does not constitute investment advice, a personalized recommendation, or an offer or invitation to buy or sell any security.
- MarketRider never receives, holds or trades the user’s money or securities. Every trade is placed by the user on their own, with the intermediary of their choice.
- Past performance —including the public track record and backtests— does not guarantee future results. Investing involves risk of loss, including the total loss of the capital invested.
2. Sign-up and accounts
To use the Platform you must create an account with truthful information and keep it up to date, be of legal age and have legal capacity. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. We may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Platform.
3. Plans, prices and payments
- The Platform offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans (“Premium”) with extended functionality. The features and limits of each plan, as well as their prices, are subject to change; changes do not affect periods already paid for.
- Payments are made through PayPal or by bank transfer (SPEI) and are validated with the receipt you upload. MarketRider does not store card details or your PayPal account details.
- Prices are stated in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated, and may be subject to applicable taxes.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time; you will keep Premium access until the end of the paid period. Unless the law provides otherwise, payments made are not refundable for partial periods.
4. Permitted use
You agree to use the Platform only for personal and lawful purposes. It is forbidden to: (a) resell, redistribute or systematically publish the Platform’s signals, data or content; (b) use robots, scraping or unauthorized automated access; (c) attempt to breach security, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to third-party systems or accounts; and (d) impersonate others or provide false information.
5. Intellectual property
The Platform, its brand, design, software, algorithms, models and content are the property of its owner and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Creating an account grants only a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable license of use.
6. Third-party information and availability
Market data comes from third-party sources that may contain errors, delays or interruptions. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”; we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, although we work to make it so.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketRider and its owner shall not be liable for losses or damages arising from investment decisions made by the user, from the use of or inability to use the Platform, from errors or omissions in the information, or for indirect or consequential damages. The user acknowledges that every investment decision is solely their own.
8. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy (Privacy Notice), in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
9. Changes
We may change these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with their update date and, when substantial, will be notified through the registered contact details. Continued use of the Platform after a change implies its acceptance.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of the city of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them. The foregoing is without prejudice to the consumer’s rights before Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
